SABAI Yacht Charter

SABAI is a thirty three metre Cantiere delle Marche explorer from 2019, a steel displacement yacht designed by Vripack that brings the quiet confidence of a true go anywhere boat to the clear water of the western Mediterranean. She looks after ten guests across five cabins with a crew of six, and her appeal is a warm oak interior, generous shaded decks and the kind of long legged, sea kindly hull that turns a passage into part of the holiday. For a family or a group of friends who want space, comfort and the reassurance of a yacht built to cross real water, she reads as calm, capable and genuinely welcoming.

Her point of difference is her breed. Cantiere delle Marche built its name on rugged, beautifully finished explorers for owners who value substance over show, and SABAI carries that character throughout, with a planted displacement ride, a quiet interior and the range to reach the places other yachts of her size cannot. The oak joinery and soft natural light give her a relaxed, almost coastal warmth, while the engineering underneath is built to run. Five cabins for ten guests is generous for her length, and the layout moves people easily between the decks, the salon and the water through a long, unhurried week aboard.

Life in the open air centres on the sun deck. Open to the sky with a plunge pool set into the teak, soft loungers alongside and a shaded helm, it is the natural gathering point for a long lunch and for drinks as the light drops over the bay, with a clear outlook across the anchorage. A deck below, a shaded dining area sets out a timber table a few paces from the water for breakfast and evening meals alike, a covered lounge offers a soft corner out of the sun, and a sea level platform opens onto the sea with the tender and a full spread of water toys close at hand for a day of swimming and exploring the coast.

Inside, the main deck is warm and composed. A comfortable main salon gathers around soft cream sofas and swivel chairs with the sea drawn in through large windows, and forward a separate dining area seats the full party around a round timber table beneath soft light. Higher up, an upper salon offers a second, quieter sitting room with a daybed and a decorative lamp beside the stair, a calm retreat away from the main deck. The finish is honey toned oak against pale upholstery throughout, a timeless and inviting look that feels bright by day and soft in the evening, with the same warm wood carried from room to room.

Accommodation is arranged over five cabins for ten guests. The master stateroom takes a private, full beam position with a wide bed, a seating area, generous storage and its own bathroom, while a VIP double, a further double and a twin cabin, each quiet and comfortable in warm oak with their own facilities, look after the rest of the party below deck. It is a flexible plan that suits a family or a group of friends, the twin with its two single beds ready for children or younger guests sharing, and every cabin lined in the same warm timber as the main deck, settled and restful at the end of a long day in the sun.

Under way she is exactly what an explorer should be, a quiet, composed displacement yacht that holds an easy cruise for hour after hour and settles calmly at anchor in the most remote of coves. Her natural ground is the western Mediterranean, the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia and the French and Italian Riviera all within comfortable reach, with the range to push on to Croatia and Montenegro when the season calls. Beautifully built, warmly finished and run by a crew of six, SABAI is a relaxed and capable way to charter the Mediterranean for a group that values space, comfort and the freedom to go further.
