She reads as one continuous shape, not a boat built from parts.
The 350 Realm borrows her hull from the bluewater 350 Outrage, then finishes it without the usual clutter of brackets, grommets and trim pieces that mark a working fishing boat. Hardtop supports meet the gunwale without a visible seam, side door hinges sit recessed and polished, and the dark helm console disappears rather than reflecting in the single pane windscreen ahead of it. It is the kind of finish that comes from a design team treating every joint as a decision rather than an afterthought, and it shows most clearly at idle, dockside, where a boat either looks resolved or does not.
She stays on plane at speeds that would put most outboard boats of her size back on their heels.
With trim tabs down and the outboards trimmed in, the 350 Realm holds plane and stays manoeuvrable at around 16 knots fully loaded, a genuine advantage when conditions turn and a following sea needs careful handling rather than raw speed. Independent sea trials with the optional triple 350 horsepower Verados found a cruise close to Boston Whaler’s own 30 knot figure, climbing well past 40 knots at the top end and broadly matching the yard’s quoted numbers. The foam filled hull beneath her, shared with the Outrage range, absorbs the chop that would otherwise travel straight into the cockpit.
Below deck she keeps a promise most centre consoles never make: somewhere to actually sleep.
A cabin tucked beneath the helm holds a convertible V berth, a flat screen television and a head with a shower, enough for a couple to spend a genuine weekend aboard rather than just a long day. One cabin and sleeping space for two guests is modest beside a full motor yacht, but it is a rarity on a boat built from a fishing hull, and it buys real privacy for the two guests who use it while the rest of the party stays on deck. It is a sensibly sized cabin rather than a marketing afterthought, and it changes what the 350 Realm can be used for.
The cockpit is built to turn into a different room depending on the hour.
The helm bench seats two and swivels through 180 degrees to face aft once she is tied up, while a second doublewide seat behind it flips to face either way, forward for running or aft for entertaining. Two counters flank the seating, one fitted with a sink for a standing guest to brace against underway. Aft, a prep centre with a hinged lid reveals a built in grill, and a full size cooler sits beneath the reversible seating with its own small door for grabbing a drink without disturbing anyone seated. Forward, wraparound bow seating and an optional shade extend the living space right to the stem, and a gyroscopic stabiliser is available to keep all of it level when the sea does not cooperate.
Three hundred and twenty nautical miles is a genuine cruising range, not a brochure number.
A 1,514 litre fuel capacity feeds the triple Mercury Verados at an efficient cruise, delivering that range at the 30 knot speed most owners will actually use day to day. Independent testing recorded fuel economy in a similar bracket at a comparable cruising speed, supporting Boston Whaler’s own figures rather than contradicting them. For an owner planning long runs between islands or a full day of fishing well offshore and back, that combination of range and triple engine redundancy, up to 350 horsepower per outboard, removes one of the more common anxieties around outboard powered boats of this size.
