Cantiere delle Marche / Cantiere delle Marche Deep Blue 130
The Deep Blue 130 is Cantiere delle Marche’s 39.4-metre interpretation of the modern long-range explorer, a steel-hulled yacht that blends the yard’s proven ocean engineering with a more contemporary exterior drawn by Horacio Bozzo of Axis Group Yacht Design. Where the Darwin line wears its working heritage openly, the Deep Blue carries cleaner, more sculpted lines while retaining the full-displacement hull and transoceanic capability that define a true CdM explorer. Twin Caterpillar C32 engines of 746 kW each give her a 14-knot maximum and a 10-knot cruise, with a 4,500-nautical-mile range drawn from 58,000 litres of fuel.
At 320 tonnes with an 8-metre beam, she offers the volume to accommodate ten guests in five cabins, with a main-deck owner’s suite and two Pullman berths for flexibility. Seven crew in four cabins support full superyacht service. The yacht is offered in multiple interior layouts, from a classic arrangement to a three-cabin configuration, letting owners match the accommodation to their cruising style.
Built to order at the CdM yard in Ancona, the Deep Blue 130 pairs a modern aesthetic with a shallow 2.30-metre draught and genuine self-sufficiency for remote cruising. For owners drawn to CdM’s ocean pedigree but seeking a softer, more current design language, the Deep Blue line offers explorer substance in a notably elegant package.

Twin Caterpillar C32 engines of 746 kW each give the Deep Blue 130 a 14-knot maximum and an economical 10-knot cruise, a touch more pace than the Darwin range while keeping full-displacement efficiency. The 4,500-nautical-mile range at 10 knots, drawn from 58,000 litres of fuel, supports genuine ocean passages and extended remote cruising. At 320 tonnes full load she holds a steady motion in open water, with stabilisers managing roll under way and at rest. The shallow 2.30-metre draught is notably modest for the length, opening up coastal anchorages and marinas that deeper displacement yachts cannot use.
Horacio Bozzo of Axis Group Yacht Design gave the Deep Blue 130 a cleaner, more sculptural profile than the classic Darwin silhouette, with sweeping lines, generous glazing and well-integrated outdoor decks. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure retain the strength needed for ocean work, while the styling leans toward light, space and connection with the water. Large side decks and a considered deck flow keep the yacht safe and practical at sea. The expansive sun deck, foredeck seating and broad aft decks give the Deep Blue a resort-like quality that sets it apart within the CdM range while preserving true explorer function.
The Deep Blue 130 accommodates ten guests in five cabins, with a main-deck owner’s suite exploiting the full 8-metre beam and two Pullman berths for added flexibility. CdM offers the yacht in several layouts, including classic and three-cabin arrangements, so owners can prioritise either guest capacity or larger, fewer staterooms. Guest cabins on the lower deck have private bathrooms, and seven crew are housed in four cabins forward with their own mess. The interior designer is specified to the owner’s preference, and the semi-custom process allows full control over materials, layout and the character of the living spaces.
Light and volume define life aboard the Deep Blue 130. The main salon enjoys large windows and opens aft to a sheltered deck for dining and relaxing at anchor. An upper salon or sky lounge provides a second interior living area with access to the upper aft deck. The generous sun deck carries a spa pool, sunpads, bar and shaded dining, functioning as a full outdoor living level. Forward, a foredeck lounge offers a quieter retreat, while the aft beach club with tender garage and bathing platform turns the stern into a natural gathering point for swimming and water sports in warm anchorages.
Cantiere delle Marche builds each Deep Blue 130 to order in Ancona, classed to RINA and specified around the owner’s plans. The 320-tonne steel hull, 58,000-litre fuel capacity and shallow draught are engineered for self-sufficient ocean cruising with broad anchorage access. The choice of deck layouts and the yard’s semi-custom approach make the Deep Blue 130 adaptable to a wide spread of owners and itineraries. Combining CdM’s ocean pedigree with Horacio Bozzo’s modern styling, it offers explorer capability in one of the more elegant packages in its size class.
