Cranchi / Cranchi Sessantasette 67 Corsa
The Sessantasette 67 Corsa stands apart from Cranchi’s standard Sessantasette 67 with a sportbridge design that delivers the look and character of a coupe. Dubbed “The Sea Coupe” by its creators, this 20.80-metre cruiser trades the conventional flybridge for a lower, leaner sportbridge that preserves an elevated helm station while sharpening the profile into something distinctly more athletic.
Designed by Centro Studi e Ricerche with art direction from Christian Grande and hull lines by Aldo Cranchi, the 67 Corsa carries a 5.40-metre beam that creates generous interior volume across three decks. The main deck flows from an open cockpit through sliding glass into a full-beam saloon filled with natural light. Below, the owner can choose between a three-cabin layout with a dedicated studio or a four-cabin arrangement, sleeping up to six guests in either configuration.
Topside, the sportbridge houses a second helm station with social seating and a wet bar, creating an intimate outdoor entertainment space without the visual bulk of a traditional flybridge. The coupe roofline also reduces windage, contributing to more efficient cruising at speed.
Twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350 engines produce 2,000 horsepower through steerable pod drives, giving the 67 Corsa precise low-speed handling and confident offshore performance. The CE Category B hull accommodates up to 18 day guests, and a 4,000-litre fuel capacity supports extended coastal passages across the Mediterranean.

Christian Grande’s art direction delivers a profile where the windshield sweeps into the sportbridge in one continuous gesture, avoiding the stepped break typical of flybridge designs. The result is a yacht that communicates speed and purpose from every angle. Aldo Cranchi’s hull design builds on decades of the family’s hands-on refinement, carrying a semi-displacement form that balances stability at rest with capable performance underway. The 5.40-metre beam creates a wide, stable platform, while the 1.75-metre draft keeps the yacht accessible to a broad range of Mediterranean marinas and anchorages. Centro Studi e Ricerche, Cranchi’s in-house engineering bureau, integrated the structural and mechanical systems, ensuring the sportbridge adds minimal weight to the superstructure. The resulting low center of gravity contributes directly to the yacht’s handling and seakeeping confidence.
The main deck is where the 67 Corsa’s coupe concept is most immediately felt. A full-height sliding glass partition connects the cockpit to the saloon, creating a single open-plan living area when conditions allow. The cockpit itself is arranged for both dining and lounging, with direct access to the swim platform and tender garage. Inside, the saloon benefits from the full beam of the hull, with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides delivering panoramic views. The galley is positioned forward to port, keeping service traffic away from the social areas while remaining connected to the dining zone. The helm station on the main deck serves as the primary driving position, designed with ergonomic seating and clear sightlines forward. Instrumentation follows Cranchi’s current digital dashboard architecture, and the IPS joystick provides fingertip control during close-quarters maneuvering.
Cranchi offers two distinct lower-deck configurations for the 67 Corsa. The three-cabin layout includes a full-beam owner’s stateroom amidships, a VIP cabin forward, and a twin-berth guest cabin to starboard, complemented by a dedicated studio that serves as a private office or additional lounge. The four-cabin version replaces the studio with a third guest cabin, increasing berth count for owners who prioritize guest capacity. Both layouts share a thoughtful approach to natural light below the waterline, with hull windows and overhead skylights reducing the enclosed feeling common in yachts of this size. Each cabin has its own en-suite head, and storage is generous throughout, reflecting the yacht’s positioning as a vessel for extended cruising rather than day-tripping alone.
The sportbridge is the defining feature that separates the Corsa from the standard Sessantasette 67. Accessed via an internal stairway from the saloon, it provides a second helm position, a wet bar, and relaxed seating for a small group. The key distinction from a conventional flybridge is height: the sportbridge sits noticeably lower, which reduces windage, improves fuel efficiency at speed, and gives the yacht its distinctive coupe silhouette. For owners who want the option of driving from an elevated, open-air position but find a full flybridge visually and aerodynamically excessive, the sportbridge offers a compelling middle ground. The reduced topside weight also benefits stability and lessens roll in beam seas, a practical advantage that goes beyond aesthetics.
Twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350 engines deliver 2,000 horsepower through steerable pod drives mounted beneath the hull. The IPS system is well matched to the 67 Corsa’s character: it provides precise low-speed handling for marina work, efficient cruising at moderate throttle settings, and responsive acceleration when conditions demand it. Fuel capacity of 4,000 litres supports extended coastal passages, and the 810-litre water tank ensures self-sufficiency during multi-day itineraries. The CE Category B rating certifies the yacht for offshore conditions in seas up to four metres, confirming that the sportbridge design does not compromise seaworthiness. With an estimated displacement of 40,000 kilograms, the 67 Corsa maintains a favorable power-to-weight ratio for its class, contributing to both performance and fuel economy.
