Damen Yachting, formerly Amels, is a Dutch shipyard within the Damen Shipyards Group that produces superyachts and yacht support vessels from 55 to 100 metres. Based in Vlissingen, the yard combines the precision of Dutch engineering with the scale and resources of one of the world’s largest shipbuilding groups.
Damen Yachting’s portfolio includes the SeaXplorer expedition range, the Limited Editions superyacht programme (formerly Amels), and the Yacht Support series, purpose-built vessels designed to accompany superyachts with additional tenders, toys, vehicles, and crew. The YS 53 Yacht Support has proven particularly popular, offering the capability of a commercial vessel with the finish and comfort expected in the yachting world.
