Dufour 37 For Sale

The Dufour 37 marks the entry point to a range built on six decades of French sailing pedigree. At 10.77 metres, she is the most compact yacht in the current lineup, yet her design extracts interior volume that belies her length. A chined hull reduces wetted surface area and sharpens upwind angles, while a single rudder delivers direct, responsive helm feedback that rewards experienced sailors and reassures newer hands in equal measure.nnConstruction follows Dufour’s vacuum-infused hull and injection-moulded deck process, a combination that locks in long-term structural rigidity without adding unnecessary weight. The result is a sailing yacht whose displacement of 6,747 kg translates into lively performance across a broad wind range.nnBelow deck, a choice of two or three cabin layouts lets owners tailor the boat to weekend coastal cruising or extended passages with family. The galley runs longitudinally to port, opening the saloon into a single, sociable living space flooded with natural light from generously sized hull glazing and a coachroof window above the forward cabin. Storage is intelligently distributed, with modular spaces that can convert from lockers to a compact nav station depending on the owner’s priorities.nnOn deck, the cockpit is laid out for intuitive single-handed sailing, with halyard and sheet leads within arm’s reach of the twin helm stations. The Dufour 37 is built at the La Rochelle yard and delivered with the warranty backing of the Fountaine Pajot Group.
