GX Superyachts builds aluminium hybrid superyachts for owners who want long range without the noise, vibration and fuel bills that usually accompany it. The brand draws on the team behind Greenline Yachts, whose 16 years of hybrid propulsion and more than 1,000 delivered boats inform every system on board. The result is a line of 24 to 56 metre yachts engineered around serial and parallel diesel electric drive, large lithium battery banks and roof mounted solar arrays, so a GX can cruise, anchor and run its hotel loads with zero emissions for extended periods.
Design comes from Marco Casali of Too Design, who shapes both the exterior profile and the family minded interiors, while naval architecture is handled by Francesco Rogantin of NAMES studio. Construction takes place at SES Yachts in Istanbul, a yard chosen for its aluminium expertise. The first hull, the 42 metre GX42, launched in 2026 as the yacht Merinos and previews a range that will span RPH, Coupe and Voyager configurations. For buyers weighing a semi custom build, GX offers a clear proposition: measured performance, genuine silence at anchor and a lower carbon footprint, backed by propulsion knowledge that few new yards can match.
