The Mangusta ICONA 70 is a groundbreaking performance yacht that redefines the sub-24-metre segment with its radical design philosophy, placing emotion and purity at the heart of every detail. Born from the partnership between EFFEBI NEW PROJECT and Overmarine Group, ICONA 70 is the inaugural model of the new “ICONA inspired by Mangusta” brand, conceived as a moving sculpture that blends the elegance of a 1960s roadster with cutting-edge marine technology.

Designed by Overmarine Group and Igor Lobanov, the architect behind Mangusta’s acclaimed REV design language, ICONA 70 features a muscular GRP hull with uninterrupted surfaces, a dramatic 3D-printed honeycomb engine air intake inspired by hypercars, and a pillar-less curved wraparound windshield reminiscent of a fighter-jet canopy. The dark glazed superstructure disappears beneath a dramatically tapered hardtop, while a pale metallic blue finish across heavily sculpted surfaces creates an unmistakable silhouette on the water.

The innovation centres on the aft section, where two immense fold-down wings expand the beam beyond 9 metres, creating an exceptional 40-square-metre overwater platform, living space traditionally associated with superyachts twice this length. An integrated transformer staircase extends directly into the sea, while convertible sunbeds, a concealed outdoor galley with barbecue, refrigerator and ice maker, a DJ station, premium audio system and colour-changing LED lighting transform the aft deck into a social hub designed around experiences. A discreet side tender bay accommodates a jet tender up to 3.45 metres.

The enclosed, fully air-conditioned main-deck salon features a curved glass dome that floods the space with natural light while offering full climate control. Below deck, three guest cabins, a full-beam master with open bathroom concept, a VIP and a twin, plus separate captain’s accommodation deliver volumes that defy the 20.9-metre hull. Ceiling height reaches an extraordinary 2.85 metres in the central section and 2.10 metres in the cabins, with continuous hull windows bringing the sea into every space.

The minimalist helm station draws heavily from automotive design, featuring four integrated 19-inch touchscreens, four dedicated driving seats, and multicolour ambient lighting, all free of unnecessary physical controls. Advanced systems including joystick manoeuvring, dynamic positioning, forward-looking live sonar, and Garmin Easy Docking assisted technology make this high-performance yacht remarkably intuitive to operate.

Two engine configurations are available. The standard installation pairs three Volvo Penta D13-800 engines producing 2,400 horsepower for a top speed of 30 knots, 25-knot cruising speed and 300-nautical-mile range. The optional D13-1000 IPS1350 upgrade delivers 3,000 horsepower, raising performance to approximately 36 knots with 30-knot cruising and 270-nautical-mile range. ICONA’s automotive-inspired Commission customisation programme offers six named exterior themes plus bespoke owner collaborations, ensuring no two yachts need be alike.
