She draws just 2 metres and still reaches 24 knots.
Four Volvo Penta IPS engines give the GranSport 34 pod drive manoeuvrability alongside genuinely sporty performance, cruising at 20 knots and covering 300 nautical miles on her 10,500 litre fuel capacity. That shallow draught matters as much as the top speed: it opens anchorages across the Bahamas, the Carolinas and the shallower corners of the Mediterranean that a deeper hulled yacht of the same length would have to avoid. Overmarine built the GranSport line on exactly that trade, speed without sacrificing access.
Alberto Mancini has sharpened an already sporting profile rather than redrawn it.
The GranSport 34 keeps the raked windows, low profile superstructure and taut sheer that define the line, while opening up far more glass than her predecessor carried. Larger windows on both the main and lower decks blur the line between inside and outside, keeping the saloon and cabins bright without adding visible bulk to the hull. It is an evolution rather than a departure, which suits a line that has already found twelve owners under the GranSport 33 name and did not need reinventing, only refining.
Her master suite claims the whole of the main deck.
At around 40 square metres, it sits alone on that level, away from the guest cabins below. The lower deck holds four further cabins, two VIP doubles and two further doubles, accommodating up to 12 guests in total, while three crew cabins house a working crew of five. The split keeps guests and crew moving on separate paths through the yacht, a detail that matters more on a 34 metre hull than it would on something larger, where space is easier to find.
The cockpit has grown to do more than entertain.
Overmarine enlarged both the aft cockpit and the tender garage on this generation, partly to make room for the exhaust filtration now required for yachts cruising in emission controlled waters along the US coast. The result is a more flexible aft deck without losing the garage’s original purpose, and it reflects how directly this redesign was aimed at American cruising grounds specifically, rather than at the Mediterranean market the brand built its name on. The shallow draught and the enlarged aft spaces work together rather than as separate decisions.
Six of her predecessor already cruise American waters, and this hull continues that story.
The GranSport 34 succeeds the GranSport 33, a model that found twelve owners over its production run, several of them in the United States and the Caribbean. Overmarine built the first GranSport 34 for an American owner, and the brand’s own leadership in the region points to her sporty profile, her volume for a 34 metre yacht and her shallow draught as the reasons behind that demand. At 33.9 metres with a 7.4 metre beam, she is positioned as a specific, well proven choice rather than a generic flagship.
