Mishi / Mishi 88
The Mishi 88 is the first yacht from Mishi Yachts, a Turkish brand born inside the Yonca shipyard and its decades of advanced-composite experience. At just under 27 metres she is a true carbon-composite performance cruiser, conceived for owners who want to cross oceans in comfort yet still feel the yacht come alive the moment the sheets are trimmed. Hull, deck and superstructure are built in a glass-and-carbon sandwich and the yacht carries full RINA classification for unrestricted navigation, so her light, stiff structure is matched by genuine blue-water pedigree.
Life aboard the 88 is organised around an exceptionally generous cockpit that doubles as the main living space. A carbon-composite hard-top shelters a dining area where up to ten guests can sit in deep sofas around adjustable tables, while twin helm stations and wide, well-protected side decks make the yacht easy to handle short-handed. Aft, a fold-down swim platform opens the yacht to the sea and stows a 3.5-metre tender; forward, the foredeck is laid out to seat four sunbathers or six diners, giving the owner a private retreat away from the cockpit.
Below decks the accommodation balances privacy with flexibility. The owner enjoys a full-beam master suite, with two further twin or double guest cabins and a convertible midships cabin that can serve as a childrens or staff space, all finished with en-suite facilities. Natural materials dominate throughout, and the interior by ORS Yacht Design pairs pale timbers and soft fabrics with the laid Burma teak that runs across the decks. Dedicated crew quarters, including a captains cabin, keep service discreet and separate from the guest areas.
Under way the Mishi 88 is designed to make long passages feel effortless. She cruises comfortably at eight knots under power and reaches around 11.5 knots flat out, with a range of roughly 1,000 nautical miles between fuel stops, and she has already proven herself on a 3,000-nautical-mile round trip from the Sea of Marmara to the Mediterranean and back. A deep keel and tall rig give her the power to sail efficiently in light airs while the carbon structure keeps displacement in check, so performance and comfort are not traded against one another.
Particular attention has gone into the details that make a yacht of this size easy to live with. Electric furling systems, powered winches and a bow thruster reduce the physical effort of sail handling and manoeuvring in harbour, while the wide, uncluttered side decks and sturdy stanchions give real security when moving around at sea. Stowage has been engineered for extended cruising, with dedicated lockers for water toys, diving equipment and provisions, and the engineering spaces are laid out for straightforward maintenance far from home.
The result is a yacht that reads as a scaled-down superyacht rather than an oversized production boat: hand-built, fully classed and highly specified, yet simple enough for a couple to enjoy with minimal crew. For a sailor who knows exactly what they want, the Mishi 88 offers a rare combination of engineering integrity, outdoor living and genuine ocean capability.
Delivered yachts in the range have cruised extensively across the Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean, and the yard supports owners through commissioning, class renewal and long-distance passage planning. With only a small number of hulls built to date, each Mishi 88 is effectively a bespoke commission, specified around the way her owner intends to use her rather than assembled to a fixed production standard.

The Mishi 88 cruises at eight knots under power and tops out at around 11.5 knots, with roughly 1,000 nautical miles of range. Her deep keel, tall rig and light carbon structure let her sail efficiently in light airs, and she has already completed a 3,000-nautical-mile passage from the Sea of Marmara to the Mediterranean and back.
Outdoor living centres on a vast cockpit sheltered by a carbon hard-top, where up to ten guests dine around adjustable tables in deep sofas. Twin helms and wide, well-protected side decks keep her easy to manage short-handed, while an aft swim platform stows a 3.5-metre tender and the foredeck seats four to sunbathe or six to dine.
Below, a full-beam owners suite is joined by two twin or double guest cabins and a convertible midships cabin, all en-suite. The ORS Yacht Design interior works in natural woods, leather and fabric, and separate crew quarters with a captains cabin keep service discreet.
Hull, deck and superstructure are built in a glass-and-carbon sandwich with laid Burma teak decks, delivering a light, stiff and durable platform. The yacht carries full RINA classification covering hull and machinery for unrestricted navigation, drawing on Yoncas long experience in commercially classed composite construction.
Electric furling, powered winches and a bow thruster reduce the effort of sailing and manoeuvring, while generous stowage and accessible engineering spaces suit extended, self-sufficient cruising.
