She is the smallest hull in the Pirelli range, and it shows in her proportions rather than her ambition.
TecnoRib’s own design team drew her exterior around a walkaround concept, a layout built for genuine side deck access rather than the fixed bow lounge of a larger open boat. At 9.5 metres she reads as compact but purposeful, with none of the visual bulk that a scaled down version of a bigger model can sometimes carry. The result is a hull that looks entirely at home tied up beside a much larger yacht as her tender, and just as at home on her own for an afternoon out.
The bow does two different jobs depending on how she is set up.
Owners can specify a full walkaround forward, useful for line handling and fender work when she is working as a tender, or a full beam sundeck laid out in Mediterranean style for owners who will use her mainly for her own day trips. Aft, two opposing seats fold down around a table that converts the whole area into a further sunbathing space once the anchor is down. A compact changing area with a sink and toilet sits near the helm, enough for a full day out without needing to return to a mother ship or a marina.
Eight guests by day, two by night, one crew to run her either way.
The single cabin gives her a genuine overnight option without pretending to be more than an entry level boat should be, useful for a quick escape or simply as a practical base when she is working as a tender on a longer trip. Crew for one keeps her properly staffed without the complexity of a larger yacht’s crew requirements, and her day capacity for eight makes her sociable enough for a full afternoon on the water. It is a specification built around flexibility rather than any single use case, and it works because nothing about it is stretched beyond what the hull can comfortably support.
Diesel as standard, outboards if an owner wants them.
Twin Volvo Penta D4 diesels drive her from the factory, taking her to a 35 knot cruise and a 40 knot top speed, figures that suit her role as a practical, easily run boat rather than a pure performance model. Owners who want a different character can specify twin Mercury Verado 300 or Yamaha F300 outboards instead. A 550 litre fuel tank gives 250 nautical miles of range at cruise, plenty for a day’s work as a tender or a full weekend of her own local cruising, engineered throughout by TecnoRib’s in house team.
At 250,000 euros, she is the most accessible way into the Pirelli range.
Built and engineered in house by TecnoRib, she carries the same construction standards as her larger siblings at a fraction of the outlay, with one cabin, crew for one and capacity for eight day guests giving her real everyday usefulness. Whether bought as a serious tender for a larger yacht or as a first RIB in her own right, the Pirelli 30 offers a genuinely capable specification without asking an owner to compromise on build quality to get there.
