The cockpit works as hard as the hull beneath it.
A sporty T-top runs directly into the windscreen, closing off the helm and forward seating into a sheltered, semi enclosed space while the aft cockpit stays open to the sun. A galley spans both sides of this cockpit, fitted with an induction hob and space for up to three refrigerators or a dishwasher, enough to cater a full day on board without returning to the cabin below. Eight guests can be seated comfortably for the day, and an electronic steering wheel that automatically limits its own rotation keeps handling precise even at speed.
She reads as an evolution, not a departure, from the model that built the range.
TecnoRib scaled up the Pirelli 42’s low, tensioned profile to 15 metres length and 4.5 metres beam, keeping the same purposeful stance rather than softening the lines for extra volume. A 1.2 metre draught keeps her manageable in shallower anchorages despite her size, and a 15 tonne displacement gives the hull the weight to stay settled rather than skip through a chop. The result looks every inch a RIB, just one built at a scale that most of the category never reaches.
Two proper cabins put her ahead of most boats still called a RIB.
A master cabin forward carries a double bed and its own bathroom, while a second cabin aft fits two single berths, together sleeping four overnight guests in real beds rather than a temporary cockpit conversion. An optional side entrance gives direct access to the owner’s cabin without crossing through the rest of the accommodation, useful for late arrivals or an owner who values a separate route to bed. With one crew berth alongside, she can be run short handed or with a professional aboard, whichever suits the way she is used.
Forty knots from twin engines that are equally happy left in reserve.
The standard twin Volvo Penta D6 440s can be stepped up to D8 600s or twin Mercury Verado 600 outboards, with the range topping out at 40 knots and cruising at a settled 30 knots regardless of the engine chosen. A 1,600 litre fuel capacity supports a 300 nautical mile range at cruise, and joystick control with a bow thruster gives precise, automatic position holding for marina manoeuvring without the drama that a hull this size might suggest. TecnoRib’s own naval architecture and engineering carry the credit throughout, keeping the build a single, coherent effort rather than a patchwork of outsourced parts.
At 850,000 EUR, she is priced as the flagship RIB she is built to be.
TecnoRib carries the naval architecture, exterior design, interior and engineering credit across the whole boat, a rare case of one yard responsible for every part of the build rather than a patchwork of outside studios. She suits an owner who already knows the RIB’s appeal, its speed, its directness, its shallow draught, but wants two real cabins and eight day guests worth of space to go with it. Few boats in the maxi RIB class offer this much accommodation without giving up the performance the category exists for.
