Twin MAN V12 diesels, 1,550 horsepower each in a V drive configuration, give the 66 Ribelle a 37 knot top end and a 33 knot cruise, figures that put her among the quickest express cruisers Riva has ever built. Steering is direct and responsive, with a moderate, predictable heel through hard over turns rather than the lurch some fast monohulls show.
