Filippetti Sport 100
The Filippetti Sport 100 is the yard’s fast flagship, a 30.50 metre sport yacht drawn by Fulvio De Simoni and built to do things few boats its size attempt. Triple MAN diesels on waterjet drives push her to a top speed of 40 knots, superyacht performance in a 100 foot hull. The headline inside is the layout. The S100 is the only fast yacht in its class to place a full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck, a light, private apartment that transforms how the yacht is lived in. The saloon opens onto a broad aft deck with a three metre beach club rigged for watersports, giving a seamless flow between inside and out. Below, four guest cabins each with a private bathroom sleep up to eight, while three crew cabins and a dedicated mess sit aft. Outdoor life extends to a bow sunbathing zone with a private lounge and a flybridge carrying a large sunpad and bar. Finishes run to select woods, marbles and fine leathers, the product of more than forty years of Italian craft. Built to RINA class with a shallow 1.50 metre draft, the Sport 100 suits an owner who wants speed, a genuinely original layout and semi-custom quality in a yacht that still turns every head in the bay.

Performance is the Sport 100’s reason to exist. Three MAN 2000hp diesels drive waterjets rather than shafts or pods, the configuration that makes 40 knots possible on a 100 foot hull, with a 35 knot cruise that most yachts this size could not reach flat out. Waterjets also bring a shallow 1.50 metre draft, letting her into bays and marinas closed to deeper displacement boats, and precise low-speed control for docking. A 9,000 litre fuel capacity keeps useful range despite the pace. The triple installation is engineered for both speed and seakeeping, so the S100 stays composed when driven hard offshore. This is a yacht built to cover ground quickly and arrive fresh, and the powertrain is the single most defining thing about her.
De Simoni’s exterior gives the Sport 100 a lean, purposeful stance, low to the water with a long foredeck and a streamlined superstructure that signals speed even at rest. Outdoor living is generous for such a sporting hull. The saloon opens directly onto a wide aft deck, and a three metre beach club at the waterline, equipped with water toys, turns the stern into a playground at anchor. Forward, a bow sunbathing zone sits beside a private lounge, and above, the flybridge carries a large sunpad and a bar with panoramic views, served by a second helm station. The design keeps the sporty profile intact while finding room for the social spaces an owner expects, a balance that is harder to strike than it looks at 40 knots.
The Sport 100’s interior is defined by one bold move: a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, unheard of on a fast yacht of this size. Light floods in through the superstructure glazing, and the owner gains a private apartment with the volume usually reserved for displacement yachts ten metres longer. Below, four guest cabins each with a private bathroom accommodate up to eight, so the boat entertains as seriously as it performs. Materials are the real luxury, select woods, marbles and refined leathers specified to the owner’s taste, the signature of a yard that treats each build as bespoke. Three crew cabins aft with a dedicated mess keep service discreet. It is an interior that proves speed and genuine owner comfort need not be mutually exclusive.
For a sport yacht the S100 offers a surprising spread of places to gather. The main-deck saloon flows out to the aft deck and down to the beach club, creating one continuous indoor-outdoor zone at the heart of the boat. The flybridge is a second social hub, with its sunpad, bar and the second helm station that lets the owner drive from the best seat in the house. Forward, the bow lounge and sunbathing area give guests a quieter retreat. Because the owner’s suite sits on the main deck, the lower deck is given over entirely to guests, so nobody competes for space. The result is a fast yacht that still works as a proper entertaining platform, which is rare in a hull built to plane at 40 knots.
The Sport 100 is built by Filippetti at Mondolfo and classed by RINA, with twin 33kW generators and a 1,500 litre fresh water capacity supporting time at anchor. The waterjet propulsion, while delivering the performance, also simplifies some aspects of ownership through its shallow draft and strong low-speed manoeuvrability, and three crew cabins mean she can be run fully staffed. As a current in-build model, she is sold new to specification, with recent brokerage examples quoted for 2027 delivery from Ancona. Indicative pricing is around 12 million euros, based on a brokerage asking price of 13.2 million US dollars converted at current rates. For the buyer, the S100 is a genuinely distinctive proposition, a semi-custom Italian 100 footer that marries headline speed with main-deck owner living, and does so with hand-built quality.
