Her profile reads fast before she ever leaves the dock.
A raked windshield and a low, sporty sheer set the tone, while a twenty one degree deep V hull, drawn for choppy coastal work, sits beneath an infused hull, deck, structural grid and transom. Infusion keeps the laminate strong without piling on weight, a construction method that matters as much to ride quality as it does to range. Twin Mercury Verado outboards sit cleanly on the transom and can be painted to match the hull, a small detail that keeps her lines unbroken from bow to stern. At just under twelve metres she reads larger than her length, a function of a wide 3.8 metre beam and a foredeck lounge that converts to a sunpad once the anchor goes down.
Fifty knots at the top end, and the controls to use every one of them with confidence.
Twin 400hp Mercury Verado outboards come standard, with 450hp Verados or twin Yamaha F425 XTO units available for owners who want more in reserve. Cruising at 30 knots, she carries 1,325 litres of fuel for a 250 nautical mile range, enough for a full day on the water and the run home. A joystick, digital throttle and shift, and active trim control put close quarters handling and open water cruising on the same simple interface, while a standard 7.5kW Onan generator keeps systems running at anchor. An optional Seakeeper 4.5 gyrostabiliser and bow thruster are there for owners who want the last word in stability and docking ease.
Below deck, the 39 LS trades nothing for her speed.
A forepeak stateroom with a queen size berth sleeps four in total, finished in architectural teak with a durable synthetic teak sole underfoot. The skipper’s chair adjusts electrically, a small comfort that matters on longer runs, and owners choose from three exterior upholstery options, three interior finishes and three solid surface countertop choices to make the cabin their own. It is a compact layout by design. Tiara calls her primarily a daytripper, and the accommodation reflects that brief: enough comfort for an overnight stop, not a floating apartment, which keeps weight down and performance up.
Choose her cockpit the way she chooses her purpose.
The Buffet Lounge layout turns the stern into an entertaining space, with rotating seating around a fibreglass table, an electric grill and a fridge freezer, a high gloss teak table available as an option. The Adventure Module strips that back for serious fishing, with a 42 gallon livewell, a bait prep station, four aft rod holders and fold down seating over a nearly four cubic foot freezer, with carbon fibre outriggers available for owners who want to fish further offshore. A folding portside bulwark adds usable cockpit space in either configuration. Few yachts at this length let an owner rebuild the back of the boat around how they actually plan to use her.
Two hundred and fifty nautical miles is not a figure most 39 footers can match while still carrying this much performance.
At a 30 knot cruise, the 39 LS draws on 1,325 litres of fuel to cover that distance, enough for a genuine day trip with range to spare for the unplanned detour. The figure owes as much to her infused, weight conscious construction as it does to her hull form, a deep V shape drawn for efficiency as much as comfort in a chop. For an owner based on one coast who wants to reach the next without a fuel stop, that combination of range and speed is the quieter case for choosing her over a boat that simply looks faster at the dock.
