The Saronic Islands are the closest major charter circuit to Athens, a group of pine-covered islands with settled summer conditions, reliable provisioning and a character that ranges from the sophisticated car-free lanes of Hydra to the working fishing harbour at Aegina. Superyachts of this size anchor in the deeper bays around each island and use their substantial tenders for shore access. Crews at this level number eight to ten and include a hospitality manager, dedicated chef and water sports specialist. The advance provisioning allowance runs to approximately 60,000 euros per week. Athens provisioning options at this level extend to specialist caterers and wine merchants. Itineraries at 200,000 euros in the Saronic often extend south into the Argolic Gulf, combining the island circuit with Nafplion and the ancient theatre at Epidaurus, or east to the outer Cyclades for a more ambitious week.
