Skiathos is the gateway to the Northern Sporades, a group of pine-covered islands in the northwest Aegean that combines some of the best beaches in Greece with a relatively uncrowded summer season compared to the Cyclades. At 200,000 euros per week, charter guests embark on superyachts of 50 to 60 metres, vessels with the deck space and interior volume to transform the Sporades circuit into an exceptional week. Skiathos Town has good marina facilities for vessels of this size and the surrounding archipelago provides varied anchorages across Skopelos, Alonnisos and the uninhabited islands of Peristera and Kyra Panagia. Crews at this level number eight to ten and include a hospitality manager, dedicated chef and water sports specialist. The advance provisioning allowance runs to approximately 60,000 euros per week. The Northern Sporades national marine park east of Alonnisos is one of the most significant protected marine areas in the Mediterranean, and some yachts carry a marine biologist for dive excursions to the local reefs during the week.
