Passages from Bequia to Canouan and down to the Tobago Cays run between 10 and 40 nautical miles, achievable as comfortable half-day sails in the prevailing trade winds. Anchorages have sufficient depth for 35-metre vessels and natural shelter from the easterly swell. The advance provisioning allowance adds approximately 30 percent to the base rate, covering fuel, food, harbour fees and drinks. Peak season from December to April delivers reliable conditions and holds rates firm. The shoulder months from May to November offer the same anchorages with fewer neighbours and some scope for rate flexibility.
