Windelo is a French eco sailing catamaran builder founded in 2019, crafting innovative catamarans from 50 to 62 feet using sustainable basalt and recycled PET/PVC foam sandwich construction. Their electric/hybrid propulsion systems combine solar panels, hydro-generation, and wind turbines for minimal environmental impact. Naval architects Barreau & Neuman design each hull for performance and comfort, with the flagship 58 and 62 models developed in collaboration with Stellantis Design Studio. Based in Canet-en-Roussillon on the French Mediterranean coast, Windelo offers two distinct versions of each model: the Adventure, optimised for offshore cruising with enhanced autonomy and storage, and the Yachting, refined for coastal luxury with premium finishes and entertainment spaces. The Sport variants deliver 10% more performance through carbon rudders, daggerboards, mast, Kevlar rigging, and 3D membrane sails, with a 500kg weight reduction over the standard hulls.
