Custom Line
Custom Line is the semi-custom superyacht division of the Ferretti Group, building in composite and aluminium alloy at the Group yards in Italy. Launched in 1996, the brand set out to answer a specific brief: yachts above 30 metres that keep the comfort and volume of a full-custom build while shortening the road to delivery. That balance still defines the range. Today Custom Line runs three lines. The Navetta line pairs long-range displacement hulls with generous four-deck volumes for owners who cruise far and stay aboard. The Saetta line, formerly the Planing line, carries the same design language into faster planing and semi-displacement hulls. A dedicated aluminium alloy programme reaches the 50-metre segment under 500 GT. Design is a long-standing collaboration: exterior styling and much of the naval thinking come from the Ferretti Group Engineering department working alongside studios such as Filippo Salvetti and, on interiors, ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The result is a fleet with a consistent, recognisable identity, wide glazing, clean sheerlines, sheltered decks and water-level beach clubs, built to a repeatable engineering standard rather than one-off experiment. For a buyer, a Custom Line represents Italian build pedigree, strong resale history and a semi-custom path that keeps personalisation open without the timeline of a pure custom yacht.
