BIJIN Yacht Charter

BIJIN is a 2015 Heesen of almost 50 metres, a full superyacht from the Dutch yard that built its name on fast, finely made aluminium boats. She was given a thorough refit in 2025 that brought a fresh coat of paint, new audio visual and IT with Starlink, fresh upholstery and new lighting throughout, so a ten year old yacht now presents as something close to new. Her interior is by Omega Architects, warm and restrained, a calm backdrop of pale timber and soft neutral tones that lets the sea and the light do the talking.

Life aboard spreads across several decks. The sun deck is the social heart of the yacht, with seating and sunbathing in the open air and shaded corners for the hottest hours, the natural place to gather for drinks as the day winds down. The foredeck gives a second, quieter open space away from the main flow, and the aft decks are set for dining and lounging close to the water. A wellness zone with a beach club and sauna lets guests move straight from the deck to the sea and back.

Inside, the main salon is a generous, light filled room finished in the same warm palette, with a comfortable lounge and a formal dining area set against tall windows. A separate upper deck salon gives a second interior living space, a calmer room for a quiet evening or a smaller group, while a well equipped galley and a proper bridge keep the yacht running smoothly behind the scenes.

BIJIN sleeps ten guests in five cabins. The master suite is a full owner’s apartment, with a dressing room, his and hers bathrooms and its own study, a private retreat set apart from the guest areas. Two VIP cabins and two further cabins, a double and a twin, look after the rest of the party, each finished to the same high standard in warm timber and soft fabrics. A crew of eleven runs the yacht with the polish you expect of a boat at this level, present when you need them and invisible when you do not.

A pair of MTU engines give her a top speed near 19 knots and an easy cruise around 15, with the range to plan longer passages rather than short hops alone. She is a yacht built to cross a sea and arrive fresh, equally at ease on a week of island hopping or a longer cruise along a coast.

BIJIN is most at home in the Western Mediterranean, moving between the harbours and anchorages of the Riviera and the islands, though her range and her recent refit make her just as suited to a longer programme further afield. For a larger party who want the space, the crew and the wellness areas of a true superyacht, finished to a current standard, she is a strong and well kept choice. Few yachts of her generation present this well after a decade afloat, and fewer still pair that condition with the volume, the range and the wellness spaces she carries.

She is offered for charter from 231,000 US dollars per week.
