Brabus AB110: A 48-Knot Carbon Yacht Joins the AB 110 Line

Brabus has spent decades turning Mercedes saloons into something sharper and faster. Now it has aimed that approach at a superyacht. The Brabus AB110 is the first yacht from the German tuner’s partnership with Italian shipyard AB Yachts, a 33.7-metre carbon build that pairs the yard’s planing expertise with Brabus bodywork and up to 7,800 horsepower.

The partnership between Brabus and AB Yachts was announced in July 2026, and the AB110 is its first result, unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show. It is built on AB Yachts’ established AB 110 platform, a near-34-metre carbon hull already known for speed. Brabus is no stranger to the water, with existing ranges alongside Axopar and Sunreef, but this is its move into full superyacht size, and the start of a three-model line that will also bring a 95-foot AB95 and a 150-foot AB150, the latter due at Monaco in 2027 for the tuner’s 50th anniversary.

Carbon, and a 48-knot claim

The exterior is pure Brabus: a carbon-fibre body with a roof spoiler, exposed-carbon front wings and integrated LED lighting. Power comes from up to three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines rated at 2,600 horsepower each, driving waterjets for a claimed top speed of 48 knots and a cruise around 41. At roughly 170 gross tonnes, that pace is well beyond the 25 to 30 knots most yachts of this length manage, and it is the clearest expression of what the collaboration is for.

A Masterpiece interior

Inside, the yacht follows the Brabus Masterpiece concept, with finishes drawn straight from the brand’s cars. The helm carries a bespoke steering wheel and a driver’s seat trimmed in Masterpiece leather with the signature Triangle quilting, finished with a Masterpiece emblem. The main deck social area holds two large sofas and a dining table for up to eight.

Layout and toys

The lower deck houses four staterooms for up to ten guests: an owner’s suite with a private retreat, ensuite and dressing area, two further ensuite guest suites and a separate VIP. Two crew cabins sleep four. Across three decks there is a bow sunpad and aft seating on the main deck, while the sun deck doubles as a flybridge, with sunpads, carbon tables and a secondary helm that retracts when not in use. At the stern, an integrated garage holds a jet tender and a three-seat personal watercraft, and the aft platform drops to form a sea-level beach.

Where she fits

The AB110 is the opening statement of Brabus Yachts, and a logical one: a recognisable performance brand married to a shipyard that has built fast planing yachts for more than three decades. For a buyer who wants genuine speed and a name they already know from the road, it is a distinctive arrival in the 110-foot class.
