4A Yacht Charter

4A is built for distance and design in equal measure. A Sanlorenzo 40Alloy launched in 2007, she is an aluminium motor yacht with the speed and range to explore well beyond the usual cruising grounds, and she puts that ability to use in the South Pacific and Australasia. For charter guests she offers something genuinely different, Italian design and a proper fast yacht, based where the water is wild and the anchorages are empty.

Performance defines her. Her alloy hull reaches 28 knots and cruises comfortably in the mid twenties, which turns long coastal runs and island crossings into short hops. That pace opens up itineraries across the Whitsundays, the Great Barrier Reef and the wider South Pacific that slower yachts simply cannot fit into a single week. She is made to move, and to make the most of the time aboard, covering ground that turns a single charter into a genuine expedition rather than a week in one bay.

At rest she becomes a platform for the water. A beach club at the stern drops down to a netted sea pool, giving guests a safe, shaded place to swim straight off the yacht, and fold-down balconies open the main deck to the sea on both sides. Add a full inventory of tenders and toys and she is ready for a day of diving, snorkelling and exploring from the moment she drops anchor.

The exterior decks are designed for the climate. A shaded aft deck handles dining and lounging, the foredeck offers private sun pads, and an upper deck lounge catches the evening light. There is shade where guests want it and open sun where they do not, which matters in the tropics where 4A spends her time.

Inside, the mood is calm, modern and unmistakably Italian. The main saloon is bright and open, finished in pale woods and soft neutrals, with a separate dining area and an upper lounge that connects to one of the fold-down balconies. Light moves through the interior all day, and the layout keeps guests connected to the view wherever they settle.

4A sleeps ten guests across five cabins. The master is a bright, well proportioned retreat, supported by a mix of double and twin staterooms that make her a comfortable choice for families or groups of friends. The detailing is clean and contemporary throughout, a quiet backdrop to the scenery outside, and every cabin has its own ensuite for easy living at sea.

A crew of seven runs her with the confidence that remote cruising demands, handling everything from dive operations to long passages so guests can focus on the experience. In waters where support is far away, that self sufficiency is part of what makes a charter aboard her so relaxed.

What makes 4A special is the pairing of speed, design and location. She is a fast, elegant Sanlorenzo set up for adventure in some of the most beautiful and least crowded waters on earth. For guests who want to swap the familiar for the remarkable, she is a rare and rewarding way to do it.
