About Celia P

CELIA P has been through more names than most yachts manage in a lifetime, Bash, Villa Reis, Maestro of Gibraltar and Ulysses among them, and a boat that has changed hands and identities this often usually earns that history through genuine quality rather than misfortune. Built by Mondomarine in 2008 and refitted in 2026, she carries herself less like a yacht on her fifth name and more like one that keeps getting rediscovered.

The main deck runs through a sequence of distinct rooms rather than one open-plan space, a layout typical of her generation and one that still works in her favour today: a formal saloon finished in rich wood panelling with a large abstract artwork as its centrepiece, a separate dining room with its own textured wall feature and sea views on both sides, and, one deck down, a galley finished in a cool blue palette that reads more contemporary kitchen than yacht utility space. Guests move through rooms with their own character rather than one continuous backdrop, which suits a charter built around a full week rather than a weekend.

Outside, the deck plan centres on a striking round jacuzzi set into a sunpad platform trimmed in a bold paisley print, a genuine design statement rather than the default white-on-teak most yachts default to. Aft, a shaded dining table under the deck overhang seats the full party away from the sun, while a separate lounge area with sofas and glass doors back into the saloon gives guests an easy line between inside and out.

Below, five staterooms sleep twelve: an owner’s suite finished in warm wood joinery with a substantial berth and generous storage, a VIP stateroom with its own sitting arrangement and mounted television, and cabins running through to a twin configuration finished in the same rich panelling as the rest of the yacht. Nine crew run the boat, a solid ratio for a 41-metre carrying a full guest complement, backed by twin MTU engines, Kohler generators and a 5.08-metre Castoldi tender for getting ashore.

CELIA P charters the Mediterranean through the summer season, with winter availability on request, flexibility that suits guests planning outside the July-August rush rather than competing for the same two months everyone else wants. Starlink and high-speed WiFi run throughout, smart TVs sit in every cabin, and the systems refresh means none of the technology feels inherited from an earlier decade even where the joinery and layout clearly are. Stabilisers keep her level at anchor and underway, and an extensive water toy selection alongside the Castoldi tender means the days off the boat are as well equipped as the days on it.

What CELIA P offers is a yacht that has earned her current name through repeated reinvention rather than arriving new and untested. The rooms have real character, the jacuzzi deck is genuinely distinctive rather than generic, and the accommodation runs deep enough for a full family charter without anyone doubling up. For guests who want a 41-metre with some history behind her rather than a blank slate, that’s the draw.
