For twelve days each May the Croisette becomes the most photographed kilometre of coastline in the world, and the yachts anchored off it become the part of the festival that no accreditation can buy. Cannes has no superyacht harbour deep enough for the largest boats, so the fleet lies in the bay in full view of the Palais, and the tenders run all night.
A Cannes Film Festival yacht charter solves the two things the festival makes hardest: somewhere to sleep and somewhere to entertain. Hotel inventory on the Croisette is committed years ahead and priced accordingly. A yacht gives you a private terrace three hundred metres from the red carpet, a chef, and a venue you control for the screenings, the dinners and the parties that actually matter.
The 2027 festival runs in mid-May, with dates confirmed by the Festival de Cannes each autumn. Berths in the Vieux Port and Port Canto are limited and allocated early, weighted towards length and prior history. Most yachts over forty metres anchor in the bay off the Palais or towards Golfe-Juan, which is not a compromise: the anchorage is the better address for entertaining, and the tender ride is four minutes.
