Most charter yachts are certified for twelve, so a group of ten is not choosing a smaller yacht but rather using a twelve guest yacht with room to spare. That difference shows in every shared space on board.
In practice a group of ten on a five cabin yacht means five couples in five doubles, with nobody in a pullman or a convertible twin. On a six cabin yacht it means a spare cabin, which crews will often make available as a dressing room, an office or somewhere for a child to nap. Dining tables, tenders and beach clubs that feel busy with twelve feel generous with ten.
Our ten guest fleet runs from around twenty eight metres to well past sixty, with weekly rates from roughly sixty thousand euros to several hundred thousand, plus an advance provisioning allowance near thirty percent. Because you are not pushing the yacht to its certified limit, you have more freedom to prioritise a smaller yacht with better crew or a better layout over sheer length.
