Fifty thousand euros a week is the lowest rate band we list with real depth, and it is where a crewed charter first becomes accessible to a group of eight. The twenty two yachts here currently quote between fifty five thousand and seventy three thousand euros a week, with the median at sixty five thousand.
The median length is just under thirty two metres, and the fleet splits evenly between four and five cabins. Seventeen are motor yachts and four are sailing. Most take eight to ten guests, which matters more than the cabin count: this is the band for one family or four couples, not for twelve. Yards are varied rather than dominated, with Azimut, Feadship and a number of one off custom builds. Expect a crew of four to six.
Add an advance provisioning allowance of around thirty percent for fuel, food, berthing and drinks. At this size the allowance is more predictable than higher up the fleet, since fuel burn is modest and berthing fees scale with length. Shoulder season weeks in May and late September often come in below the bottom of the band.
