A pool on a fifty metre yacht changes the character of a day at anchor. At this length it is a genuine pool rather than a plunge tub, set into the sun deck or main aft deck with enough space to swim several strokes. Fifteen yachts in our charter fleet combine a fifty metre hull with a pool, drawing from Sanlorenzo, Benetti, Feadship, Rossinavi, Baglietto, Overmarine and Golden Yachts.
The group divides neatly. Contigo, Felicita and Seven Sins pair their pools with beach clubs and gyms, making them strong charter yachts for groups that want activity throughout the day. Parillion adds fold out terraces, extending usable deck space to the waterline. Bello and Freedom combine pool, sauna and spa, while Alfa Mario adds a cinema. Most take ten to twelve guests in five or six cabins.
Weekly rates range from one hundred and ten thousand euros for Alfa Mario to three hundred and twenty five thousand for Contigo. The median sits at two hundred and fifty thousand. Ten of the fifteen fall between one hundred and fifty and three hundred thousand, making this one of the more accessible pool segments. Add roughly thirty percent for the advance provisioning allowance.
The Mediterranean fills the summer, with the Cote d’Azur, Sardinia and the Balearics the most requested routes.
