Six hundred thousand euros a week is where the charter fleet crosses into genuine one-off territory. Eleven yachts in our portfolio sit in this band, quoted between six hundred thousand and six hundred and ninety five thousand euros for a summer week, with the median at six hundred and eighty thousand.
The median length is seventy three metres, with five of the eleven clearing eighty metres and four sitting at seventy. All eleven are motor yachts. Benetti leads the band with three hulls, Lürssen contributes two, and Amels, Feadship, VSY, Admiral and CRN each provide one. Ten of the eleven carry a beach club, seven have a spa and a sauna, and six offer a swimming pool. These yachts were designed around extended stays rather than quick transits.
The rate covers the yacht and a crew of eighteen to twenty four. An advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks, and at this displacement it is a substantial sum. A passage from Sardinia to the Ionian will produce a noticeably different fuel bill than a week anchored off Porto Cervo.
