Sunseeker is a British manufacturer producing composite motor yachts from 14 to 40 metres, combining performance planing hulls with a bold design aesthetic that has made the brand one of the most recognisable in Mediterranean charter. The four Sunseeker charter yachts available in Calvi offer a more energetic, speed-oriented charter experience than the larger displacement vessels in the fleet, with cruise speeds of 25 to 35 knots that make exploring the Corsican coast both practical and exhilarating.
Calvi is an excellent Sunseeker base. The bay is sheltered, the marina well equipped and the distances between coves along the western Corsican coast suit a planing hull that covers 25 nautical miles in under an hour. Day trips to Ile Rousse, the Scandola Reserve and the beaches of Girolata are all achievable without committing to an overnight passage.
Sunseeker charter rates from Calvi range from approximately 15,000 to 60,000 euros per week depending on the vessel and season. The advance provisioning allowance adds around 30 percent, covering fuel, provisions, marina fees and drinks. Fuel costs are higher on planing hulls and scale with the distances covered during the week.
Crews of two to four operate Sunseeker charter yachts. The onboard experience is more intimate than a large superyacht and well suited to couples, small families and guests who want to move freely between coves with a minimum of formality. May, June and September offer particularly competitive rates.
