Codecasa has built at Viareggio since 1825, which makes it the oldest yard still producing superyachts in Italy. What it delivers is unusually consistent, steel displacement hulls under aluminium superstructures, a near plumb bow, a dark hull and a profile that has changed slowly and deliberately across thirty years. A Codecasa is recognisable at anchor from a long way off.
Our Codecasa charter fleet sits almost entirely in the fifty metre class. Emerald is the largest at fifty one metres, followed by Kadimo’s and Mariu at forty nine point nine, Elena V at forty nine and Cyan at forty eight point seven. Ability, at forty two metres and eighteen knots of cruising speed, is the quick one and the smallest way in. Kadimo’s, delivered in 2015, is the most recent hull of the group.
Weekly rates open at one hundred and ten thousand euros for Ability and reach two hundred and forty thousand for Kadimo’s, with the fifty metre group clustered tightly between one hundred and eighty five and two hundred thousand. An advance provisioning allowance near thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
Crews run from eight to thirteen, and every yacht in the fleet takes twelve guests except Ability, which takes eleven. Most of the fleet works the Western and Eastern Mediterranean through summer, with Cyan crossing for the Caribbean season.
