Heesen has been building aluminium hulls in Oss since the 1970s, and the yard’s fifty five to fifty seven metre range is where Dutch engineering meets genuine cruising speed. Four Heesen yachts charter in this band, all carrying twelve guests across six cabins, all delivered between 2017 and 2024. These are not slow displacement boats. Heesen hulls at this length run semi-displacement or fast displacement lines, which means the flexibility to reposition between islands in hours rather than overnight.
Santosha is the newest, launched in 2024 at 56.7 metres, and she sets the benchmark for the group. Reliance and Moskito follow at fifty five metres, delivered in 2023 and 2021 respectively, both fitted with beach clubs, gyms, saunas and steam rooms. Laurentia, the eldest at 2017, carries a cinema and a beach club at fifty four point nine metres. All four share the same cabin count and guest capacity, so the differences sit in layout detail, refit standard and seasonal positioning.
Weekly rates range from three hundred and fifty thousand euros for Moskito to four hundred thousand for Santosha, Reliance and Laurentia. Add an advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent for fuel, food, berthing and drinks. That APA covers the running costs of a typical week, and any unspent balance is returned at the end of the charter.
