A deck jacuzzi is one of the most requested features on the site, and two hundred and eighty yachts in our charter fleet carry one. The group has a median length of fifty metres, which is roughly where a sun deck becomes big enough to take a proper tub without crowding out everything else.
Placement is what varies. Most sit forward on the sun deck with a view over the bow, some sit aft above the swim platform, and a handful on larger hulls sit on a private owner’s deck. Two hundred and fifty eight are motor yachts and twenty two are sailing, where a jacuzzi is harder to engineer and rarer to find. Benetti and Feadship lead with twenty nine and twenty four yachts, followed by Trinity Yachts, CRN, Amels and Heesen with eleven or twelve each.
Rates run from nineteen thousand five hundred euros a week to three million, with the median at two hundred and twenty five thousand. That sits above the fleet average because the feature skews towards larger hulls. An advance provisioning allowance of around thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
The best use of one is at the end of the day, at anchor, with the water still warm from the afternoon. Summers run the Western Mediterranean and Greece, winters Saint Barths and Antigua. Send us your dates and we will show you what is open.
