Horseshoe Reef, with its hawksbill turtles and transparent water, is reached by tender from an outer anchorage that accommodates yachts of this size comfortably. Around the marine park, Mayreau’s Salt Whistle Bay is five miles west, one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated anchorages, enclosed by a sandbar and sheltered from the prevailing swell. Union Island provides the operational hub for the southern Grenadines, with fuel, provisioning and crew facilities. Palm Island and Petit St Vincent extend the itinerary into quieter anchorages suitable for longer afternoon stops.
