Trogir is a UNESCO World Heritage city 20 nautical miles west of Split, its medieval old town set on a small island between the Trogir Channel and the mainland, preserving Romanesque and Gothic architecture found nowhere else on the Croatian coast. The Cathedral of St Lawrence in Trogir’s central square, with its Radovan portal, is one of the finest examples of Romanesque carving in the Adriatic. The Kamerlengo fortress at the island’s western tip provides a landmark visible from approaching yachts. Ciovo Island, connected to Trogir by bridge, has quiet anchorages on its southern shore.
Charter fees cover the yacht and full crew. The Advance Provisioning Allowance runs to approximately ~30,000 euros, covering fuel, provisions, marina berthing and running costs. 5 yachts are available in Croatia at this weekly rate. July and August carry peak demand; June and September offer near-identical conditions with greater date flexibility.
From Trogir, Split lies 20 nautical miles east, making it a natural first or last stop on a charter week. Brac’s northern coast is a short passage south. The Dalmatian island chain of Hvar, Vis and Korcula opens up from here within the first day of sailing.
