ANIMA is a 24 metre Fountaine Pajot power catamaran, delivered new in 2025, and she offers a different kind of week from a conventional motor yacht. A catamaran of this size spreads its volume across two hulls and a broad deck bridging them, so the living spaces are wider, the yacht lies flat and steady at anchor, and the whole platform feels calm even when a monohull of the same length would be rolling. Fountaine Pajot has built its name on exactly this, and ANIMA brings it in a bright, modern package finished in white with warm walnut accents.
She is also a quieter, more sustainable way to cruise. Solar panels across her deck feed her systems through the day, so guests can spend long hours at anchor without the constant hum of a generator, and the yacht runs softly under way. She is not a fast yacht and does not try to be: she is built to move gently between anchorages and to make the most of the time spent stopped, which is how a catamaran charter is meant to work. A crew of five runs her, a strong number for 24 metres.
Eight guests sleep in four cabins. The master runs the full beam of one hull with a large bed, walnut joinery and windows low to the sea, a bright, private room with a seating corner and its own bathroom. A VIP double and two further doubles fill the hulls, each with an ensuite, finished in the same white and walnut palette so the accommodation feels of a piece. Set low in the hulls with the water close to the windows, the cabins are calm and quiet, and the wide beam means none of them feel tight.
The main deck is one bright, open space. The salon runs in white with walnut accents, a long sofa and soft seating around a low table with glass wrapping the room, and full doors aft that slide open to the deck so the salon runs straight out to the sea at anchor. A dining table sits within the same space under a soft lit ceiling with the coast in view, and a second lounge forward with panoramic glass gives the group a quieter corner. It is a straightforward, comfortable interior that makes the most of the light and the volume a catamaran unlocks.
Outside is where the wide platform really shows. The flybridge runs the full width of the yacht with a dining table, soft seating and sun lounging under and around a hardtop, high above the sea with the coast in view on both sides. The foredeck opens out across both hulls with sun pads and seating, and the aft deck and swim platform sit low and close to the water. A tender and a spread of watersports gear come with the yacht, launched off the stern for a day in the sea, and the steady hull makes the yacht an easy place to swim from and to gather on.
Her home water is the Italian coast, based out of Salerno, with the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia and the Bay of Naples on her doorstep and Sardinia and the Aeolian Islands within reach. It is a cruising ground of short hops between famous anchorages, which suits a gentle, steady yacht that is built to linger rather than race. With her wide, calm platform, her bright interior and her solar assisted running, ANIMA suits a family or a group of friends who want a relaxed, modern week on one of the most beautiful coasts in the Mediterranean.
