A-PLAN is a Sunreef sailing catamaran from the yard that reshaped what a multihull charter could be. Launched in 2025, she stretches nearly 24 metres with a beam of more than eleven, and that width is the whole point: it buys volume, stability and a sense of space that a monohull of the same length simply cannot offer. Nine guests charter her across four cabins, with a crew of four, and no one aboard competes for room.
She is built around the water. A broad swim and play platform opens off the stern, the launch point for a full kit of toys and the social centre of any day at anchor. Forward and aft, shaded and open relaxation areas let guests choose sun or shade without moving far. An exterior dining table sits out under the sky, framed by whatever coast the day has delivered, from a Mediterranean cove to a Caribbean anchorage.
Life aboard settles quickly into a rhythm the crew shapes around the guests: mornings in the water off the stern, long lunches in the shade, afternoons under sail to the next bay, evenings on deck as the light goes. The toys are there for the energetic and the platform is there for everyone else, and the catamaran form means the yacht barely moves at anchor, so even the quietest moments stay quiet.
Inside, the main deck reads as one generous, light-filled room. A salon and dining area share the space, wrapped in glass so the sea is never more than a glance away, and the galley sits close enough to keep the crew part of the day rather than hidden from it. The styling is contemporary and restrained, warm woods against pale surfaces, the quiet confidence that has become the Sunreef signature.
Accommodation spreads across the two hulls, a layout that gives every cabin its own privacy and its own waterline view. The master is a genuine suite with its own bathroom, and the further cabins are bright and well-proportioned, each a retreat at the end of a long day on the water. Because the hulls hold the cabins and the bridge deck holds the living space, guests sleep away from the social heart of the yacht, a separation that larger monohulls spend a great deal of length trying to achieve.
Under way, A-PLAN carries the easy manners of a modern Sunreef. Hybrid propulsion backs up the rig, so she moves quietly and cleanly when the wind drops, and her catamaran stability means the passage is level, calm and kind to guests who are new to sailing. She is equally suited to a season split between two oceans, chasing the northern summer through the Mediterranean and the winter sun across the Caribbean.
That dual-ocean flexibility, paired with real sailing capability and a genuinely sociable layout, is what sets her apart. A-PLAN is not a yacht that asks guests to trade space for the romance of sail, or comfort for performance. She delivers both, in a package sized to feel personal rather than institutional. For a party drawn to the idea of sailing but unwilling to give up room, light and ease, she is a precise answer.
