About Clarity

Some yachts announce themselves with scale. CLARITY works a different register: a 31-metre motor yacht built by the Turkish yard Leight Notika in 2003, structured around a full-beam owner’s suite and a flybridge that behaves like a second home rather than a spare deck. She is based between Turkey and the East Mediterranean, a pairing of cruising grounds that rewards guests who want turquoise water in the morning and a quieter anchorage by dusk.

The flybridge is the yacht’s clearest point of difference. A wet bar, a table set for alfresco dining, and a built-in jacuzzi with sea views share one continuous deck under a fixed awning, so the transition between a drink, a meal and a soak happens without moving decks. It is a compact, composed take on the outdoor entertaining space that larger yachts spread across multiple levels.

Below, four staterooms sleep eight guests, led by a full-beam master with a private study nook, an en-suite bathroom with its own jacuzzi tub, and windows on both sides of the hull, an unusual amount of natural light for a yacht of this size. Interior designer Amanda Rosa kept the palette warm rather than flashy: cherry wood joinery, cream leather seating and a formal dining table that seats eight in its own room, separated from the open-plan salon and bar. The result reads as a private apartment more than a charter boat, a distinction that matters to guests who charter to disconnect rather than to entertain.

CLARITY’s stabilisers work at anchor and underway, a detail that counts for more than it sounds on Aegean crossings, where afternoon meltemi winds can turn an unstabilised anchorage restless within the hour. Twin MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 15 knots and a top speed of 20, enough range to cover the East Mediterranean’s island-hopping distances without turning transit days into the whole itinerary.

Guests booking Turkey and the East Med for the first time tend to ask for two things: distance from crowded marinas, and a crew who know the coastline well enough to find the anchorages that do not appear in guidebooks. At 31 metres, CLARITY is large enough to carry a five-person crew who can commit fully to service, and small enough to reach coves that keep the bigger fleet at a distance.

Charter rates run from EUR 50,000 to EUR 69,000 per week depending on season, positioning her toward the accessible end of the East Mediterranean’s four-cabin motor yacht bracket, without asking guests to compromise on the flybridge, the jacuzzi, or the full-beam master that yachts a class up sometimes can’t offer at this length.

For guests weighing a first charter in Turkey against a return trip to the South of France, CLARITY makes a clear case: fewer crowds, warmer water later into the season, and a boat built around the parts of a charter that guests actually remember afterwards, the flybridge at sunset, the jacuzzi after a swim, waking up in a master suite lit from both sides of the hull. Charter brokers who know the East Mediterranean well tend to put CLARITY on shortlists for exactly this reason: the balance between an intimate four-cabin layout and a flybridge built for entertaining rarely turns up together at this length.
