DA VINCI is a 50-metre open motor yacht built by the Italian yard Overmarine as a Mangusta 165E and delivered in 2017. Designed by Stefano Righini and styled internally by Overmarine’s in-house team, she won the Best Superyacht over 40 metres at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2018, recognition for her extraordinary combination of performance, luxury and design. Powered by four MTU engines, DA VINCI reaches a top speed of 33 knots, the fastest in her class at this length, while a draft of just 1.9 metres allows her to access shallow bays and coastlines that slower, heavier yachts simply cannot reach.
Her interiors use marble and chrome contrasted against bleached oak flooring to create a highly polished, glamorous aesthetic. All six guest cabins are located on the lower deck: a full-beam master suite with marble en-suite bathroom, a full-beam VIP suite forward, two double cabins, a twin cabin and a convertible single. The open-plan main salon is split between a bar overlooking the sea through large windows and a lounge area, with a formal dining space amidships. The sun deck carries a Jacuzzi, sunpads, a table and chairs.
With a crew of nine and a growing toy collection including SeaDoo RXP-X 300 wave runners, SeaBobs, an e-foil, wakeboards, waterskis, kayaks and paddleboards, DA VINCI delivers performance and fun in equal measure, based primarily in the Mediterranean at €225,000 per week.
The main deck aft of Da Vinci is the social heart of the exterior: a covered area with comfortable built-in seating, a dining table and a natural flow to the swim platform below. Whether for casual lunches or formal dinners under the stars, this space is purposefully designed for the pleasures of outdoor life at sea.
The main salon of Da Vinci is a considered and generous open-plan living and dining area that uses the finest materials, furniture and lighting to create a space that feels as refined and comfortable as a top private residence. Large windows ensure natural light throughout the day, and the natural flow from salon to aft deck makes indoor-outdoor living completely effortless.
The master suite of Da Vinci occupies the finest position on the yacht for privacy and natural light. A king-sized bed, sitting area, his-and-hers dressing facilities and a premium stone en-suite bathroom with shower and bath create a private retreat of the highest calibre, one that compares favourably with the finest suites in any shore-based five-star hotel.
The sun deck of Da Vinci is the highest and most panoramic outdoor space on board: a Jacuzzi, sun pads, comfortable loungers and a well-stocked bar create a space where guests naturally gather. Unobstructed views in every direction make it equally popular at sunrise and sunset.
The sky lounge of Da Vinci is a versatile social space with plush sofas, a bar, and a premium entertainment system. It moves naturally between relaxed daytime lounge and the centre of evening social life as the hours progress, and its elevated panoramic windows make it popular at all hours.
The 6 staterooms of Da Vinci accommodate 12 guests overnight in surroundings that match the quality of the master suite in materials and care. Cabins are configured flexibly for different group compositions, several converting between double and twin, and each has an en-suite bathroom, generous storage, individual climate control and a complete entertainment system.
