FLORI is a Sanlorenzo SD96, a 28.9 metre crossover that trades the usual sportsboat compromise for the volume and calm of a much larger yacht. Zuccon International Project drew her exterior and Patricia Urquiola shaped the interior, a partnership that gives her clean, low lines outside and a soft, tactile world of oak and natural stone within. Delivered in 2022 and refreshed in a 2024 refit, she presents essentially as new.
Her defining quality is the wide body main deck. With no side decks stealing space, the salon runs the full width of the yacht, wrapped in tall glass that brings the sea and the light straight inside. The result is a living space that feels generous and grounded rather than glossy, with a main lounge, a separate forward seating area and a dining table that all share the same warm, considered palette. Sliding glass along the aft bulkhead folds the salon open onto the shaded aft deck, so the whole main level becomes one continuous space between sea and sky.
Outside, FLORI is built around the water. A fold out bathing platform drops at the stern to create a proper sea terrace, backed by a full garage of jet skis and toys for active days at anchor. The upper deck carries broad sun pads and curved seating beneath a sculpted hardtop, while the foredeck hides a second sun lounge for quieter moments. Wherever you settle, the semi displacement hull keeps her steady and quiet under way, and her wide beam means there is always a shaded corner and a sunlit one to choose from.
Accommodation sleeps eight across four cabins. The master is a calm, neutral room with wide windows and its own ensuite, and three further cabins, each with hull portholes and an ensuite, take guests and children with ease. Every space carries the same Urquiola touch, natural materials and soft light rather than reflective gloss, which makes the whole yacht feel restful at the end of a long day in the sun.
A crew of six runs her without fuss, from the galley and service to the toys and the tender. The layout keeps them close enough to look after the party and far enough to leave it in peace, which is exactly the balance a good charter needs. Provisioning, itineraries and a steady flow of toys in and out of the water are handled quietly in the background.
FLORI cruises the Greek islands, at home threading the Ionian and the Saronic, dropping anchor in clear bays by day and slipping into lively harbours by night. Her range and easy motion make longer hops between island groups simple, so a week on board can cover real ground without ever feeling rushed. Short passages, long lunches and slow evenings are what she does best.
She suits a couple or a family who want design led calm over showy scale, in one of the most rewarding cruising grounds in the Mediterranean. FLORI is modern, warm and quietly confident, a design led yacht that rewards slowing down and staying a while.
