About Helios

Some yachts are built to impress at the dock. HELIOS is built to cover ground. At 23.5 knots cruise and 26 knots flat out, this Falcon 115 moves through the Aegean at a pace few 35-metre charter yachts can match, which means a week aboard reaches islands that a slower itinerary simply cannot fit in.

Built by Cantiere Navale Falcon in 2010 and refitted in 2023, she carries a planing GRP hull shaped for speed without sacrificing the volume charter guests expect. Her Registro Italiano Navale classification and Greek flag put her on home water, and a crew of six runs a tight, capable operation for up to twelve guests across five staterooms, three doubles and two twins, each with private facilities.

The layout leans toward outdoor living, and it shows in the detail. An electric sunshade system on the upper deck opens the space to sun or closes it to shade in seconds, useful in an Aegean summer where the light changes fast. Multiple dining and lounge zones are spread across the flybridge and aft deck rather than concentrated in one place, so a party of twelve can split into smaller groups without feeling like they are sharing a boat. A swim platform loaded with water toys puts the Cyclades’ clear water within arm’s reach the moment the anchor drops.

Inside, the 2023 refit shows in the details that matter on a working charter boat: fresh soft furnishings, a main saloon that opens fully to the aft deck, and a formal dining room finished in the yacht’s characteristic wood-panelled warmth. The staterooms trade heavy formality for a cleaner, more contemporary palette than her 2010 build year suggests, proof that a well-timed refit does more for a charter yacht’s appeal than a larger, unrenovated hull.

Speed matters more than most brochures admit. A slower yacht chartering the Greek islands spends real hours of the week in transit; HELIOS spends those hours at anchor instead. That difference compounds across a week, more islands, more beach clubs, more flexibility to change plan when the wind or the mood shifts. For charter groups who want the Aegean’s variety rather than a single, well-explored bay, this is the yacht that makes that itinerary possible.

She charters from sixty nine thousand euros per week out of Greece, RINA classed, with WiFi and climate control throughout and a crew accustomed to guests who want to move. HELIOS is not the largest yacht in her size class, nor the most ornate, she is simply among the fastest, and for the right charter week, that is the feature that matters most. A boat built around momentum, not just anchorage.

That momentum changes what a Greek-island charter can actually cover. A week that might otherwise mean two or three anchorages within easy reach of a single base can instead range across the Dodecanese or the Cyclades, with the extra speed banked as flexibility rather than spent chasing a schedule. Guests who arrive with a wish list, a particular beach club, a specific harbour town, a diving spot two islands over, tend to find HELIOS says yes more often than a slower yacht would. It is a quieter kind of luxury: not more amenities, but fewer limits on where the week can actually go.
