LEL is a striking and award-winning 49.7-metre motor yacht built by the acclaimed Italian shipyard Rossinavi and delivered in 2020, a fully custom project that marks the first collaboration between the yard and the celebrated designer Luca Dini. Entirely built of aluminium, she is a fast-displacement yacht capable of genuine speed, and her interior and exterior styling by Luca Dini is an admirable interpretation of the compromise between sporty design and the exploitation of internal volume. Her bold, masculine yet elegant lines, defined by a plumb vertical bow, seemingly unbroken windows and a black radar mast, give her a contemporary, sporty presence that is distinctive without being overtly aggressive, while providing enormous exterior space and a luxurious interior volume kept cleverly under 500 gross tons. Commissioned by an experienced owner who wished to use her year-round in any weather, she was conceived to be shared and enjoyed together, seamlessly connected to the sea. The great triumph of her design is a reimagined general arrangement in which the aft deck sits 90 centimetres higher than the rest of the main deck, creating a lofty, private lounge above and, below it, the standout feature of the yacht: a cavernous, award-winning beach club unlike anything seen before on a yacht of her size, which expands further still when the fold-down transom and side doors are lowered to create a huge swim platform and terraces, complete with a bar. Her interior is elegant, contemporary and entirely custom, designed around a neutral palette interspersed with reflective materials, well-judged lighting and pops of colour, with a main salon featuring extra-large windows and a dramatic forward bulkhead in black and gold marble, a carbon-fibre bar and onyx-clad bathrooms. Outdoor living is exceptional and adaptable: the upper-deck veranda can be enjoyed open to the elements or fully enclosed in glass with ceiling heaters for cooler nights, while the yacht boasts two pools, a saltwater pool on the foredeck and a spectacular glass-bottomed spa pool on the sundeck, set among greenery and a cocktail bar, which filters natural light down through glass steps into a dazzling metallic stairwell below. Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests in six deluxe en-suite cabins. The supremely spacious full-beam master suite sits on the main deck, with a dressing room and glass doors leading out to an integrated private balcony, while an adjacent VIP suite is located forward on the main deck.
