About MAIA

MAIA is one of the newest ways to see the Adriatic. Delivered by Croatia’s Radez shipyard in 2025, this 53 metre motor yacht wears a twin-masted, gulet-inspired profile that sits naturally among the islands, yet steps well beyond the tradition with a bright, contemporary interior and a genuinely modern level of finish. She is purpose-built for the way people charter these waters now: long, slow days between Croatian coves, with the space and comfort of a much larger yacht.

Her decks are made for the climate. A shaded aft table seats the whole party for dinner as the coast slides by, while the foredeck opens into a broad sun terrace with loungers and parasols for the middle of the day. Between them, the yacht keeps a natural rhythm, moving guests from breakfast in the shade to an afternoon in the sun without anyone feeling crowded. A swim platform and a full spread of water toys, from jet skis and paddleboards to towables and snorkelling gear, put the clear Adriatic within easy reach at every anchorage.

Inside, MAIA is light and current. The main salon runs in pale oak and soft neutrals, with panoramic windows that keep the sea in view and an open plan that flows straight into a generous dining table. The mood is calm and modern rather than ornate, and the quality of the joinery and lighting is immediately clear. A crew of ten run the yacht with the easy, attentive service that turns a week in Croatia into something guests plan to repeat.

Accommodation is where she shows real personality. Six cabins host twelve guests, each finished with a distinctive hand: natural agate and ammonite feature walls, backlit stone, and ocean-themed murals that carry through into the bathrooms. Several suites place a sculptural glass tub within the room itself, framed by soft light. The master runs full of natural light with its own marble and stone en-suite, and the further doubles and twins keep the layout flexible for families and groups of friends alike.

Beyond the cabins she carries the amenities of a resort at sea: a sauna for cool evenings, a gym for anyone keeping to a routine, and an indoor lounge that doubles as a cinema when the day is done. It is a lot of yacht for her length, and it is all brand new.

Under way she is steady and quiet, a pair of Caterpillar engines giving a relaxed eleven knot cruise with a little more in reserve. Her displacement hull suits the short passages of the Dalmatian coast, keeping the ride level and the fuel burn sensible across a long charter.

What sets MAIA apart is simply how new and how considered she is. She brings a fresh, design-led interior to a coastline better known for classic wooden gulets, backs it with serious space and a full water program, and does it all at a sensible weekly rate. For groups who want the Adriatic in real comfort, she makes a clear and confident case. Chartering from EUR 130,000 per week.
