MARAYA is a 54.2-metre motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard CRN and delivered in 2008, refitted in 2018. Her name translates as u2018many mirrorsu2019 in Arabic, a clue to the central conceit of Claude Missir’s interior: mirrored surfaces are used throughout to heighten ceilings and bounce light into spaces that might otherwise feel enclosed, creating a crisp minimalist interior built around elegant curves, strong vertical lines and a palette of travertine and sivec marble, canaletto walnut, antiqued beechwood and nabuk leather.
At 885 gross tonnes, MARAYA offers a volume rare for a 54-metre yacht, and it shows in the distribution of her more than 450 square metres of exterior space across five separate deck areas. The upper deck alone seats 28 for dining across three tables: a main table for 12 and two round tables for eight, making her one of the most capable event-charter platforms in the 54-metre class. She can comfortably host up to 150 guests when alongside in port.
Her standout feature is the master suite’s fold-down balcony. Unlike conventional balconies, MARAYA’s lowers hydraulically to become a completely private external terrace, usable only when at anchor, with two glass windows set into the teak floor to allow natural light to filter into the suite from below. It is a genuinely distinctive solution that no other 54-metre yacht replicates.
Family-friendliness is central to MARAYA’s brief. The lower deck holds a dedicated children’s playroom with sliding glass doors opening to the fold-down swim platform, alongside a sea-level cinema and a games room, ensuring that younger guests have spaces specifically designed for them rather than adapted from adult uses. A wheelchair-accessible elevator links all decks, and zero-speed stabilisers provide exceptional comfort at anchor.
Accommodation sleeps 12 guests across six staterooms: the master suite on the main deck, a VIP cabin on the upper deck, and four further cabins on the lower deck comprising two doubles and two twins with Pullman berths. The toy collection includes racing catamarans, a radio-controlled Laser, a Flyboard, Hoverboard, Seabob, waterski tenders and a full set of paddleboards and kayaks, all supported by a Castoldi Jet tender. With a crew of 15 and twin Caterpillar engines delivering 16 knots maximum and 14 cruising, MARAYA splits her calendar between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

Claude Missir used mirrored surfaces throughout MARAYA to heighten ceilings and flood interior spaces with light, creating crisp minimalism from rich materials.
The main-deck master suite features an emperor-sized bed, a private study and the unique hydraulic balcony that opens to the sea at anchor.
Five separate deck areas and upper-deck dining for 28 make MARAYA one of the most capable event-charter platforms in the 54-metre class.
Travertine, sivec marble, canaletto walnut, antiqued beechwood and nabuk leather combine to create a genuinely opulent material palette.
The VIP cabin on the upper deck gives a second principal guest elevated views and a generous en-suite bathroom.
A dedicated lower-deck children’s playroom, sea-level cinema and games room give young guests spaces built for them, not borrowed from adult areas.
