About Natalia V

Natalia V is what happens when a serious hull is given a second life rather than a facelift. Picchiotti delivered her in 1990 in steel with an aluminium superstructure, at a displacement few yards commit to now, and a five-million-euro rebuild completed in 2024 took her back to structure before reworking almost everything above it. New engineering, new systems, a reworked interior and a set of deck spaces that read as current as anything launched this decade. The pedigree underneath is the point: she still moves like the long-range motor yacht she was built to be.

The interior is the work of Mlinaric, Henry and Zervudachi, and it avoids the two traps a yacht of this age usually falls into. It is neither a preserved period piece nor a gut-and-gloss modernisation. Warm oak joinery runs throughout, but the palette around it is light and graphic, with indigo textiles, contemporary art and rattan-framed chairs that keep the rooms from feeling heavy. The main salon is the clearest expression of it: full-height bookcases on both sides, a deep seating group at the centre and a formal dining table forward, all under a single run of windows that pulls the anchorage inside. A second, quieter salon sits on the upper deck, more informal, with day beds along one side and its own bar.

Outside, she is unusually generous for 45 metres because she was drawn before deck volume was traded away for interior square metres. The sundeck carries a jacuzzi set into the teak, a shaded dining table for twelve and, aft, a projector and screen that turn the whole deck into an open-air cinema after dinner. Forward, the bow opens into a sun-pad lounge with its own seating. The aft deck is set for al fresco meals in the shade, and the swim platform at the waterline is where the day usually ends, with the tenders alongside and a custom Freestyle slide running from the upper deck into the sea.

Accommodation is for twelve across five cabins, all with natural light. The master occupies the main deck forward with a private study, a chaise by the windows and a marble bathroom with a full tub. Below, a VIP and a further double face each other across the lobby, both finished in the same warm oak with hand-picked artwork, and two twin cabins complete the layout for families travelling with younger guests or staff.

What sets her apart on the charter market is range. Her 2024 refit included an engine system engineered for low emissions, reduced noise and controlled consumption, and electric zero-speed stabilisers that hold her steady at anchor. She carries the fuel for transatlantic passages, which means her season is not confined to one coastline. She works the Greek islands and the Adriatic through the summer and can move east towards the Middle East for the winter without a delivery drama in between.

The toy locker is deep and genuinely used: a Viper Magnum 31 custom chase boat capable of 62 knots, two Sea-Doo jet skis, two Seabobs, a sea bike, kayaks, paddleboards, wakeboard and water skis, electric bikes and scooters for shore days. A crew of nine, several of them long-serving, run her with the quiet competence that comes from knowing a yacht properly.
