NORTH STAR is a 63.1-metre motor yacht built by the Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachts and delivered in 2019, with naval architecture by Ozgun Yacht Design, exterior styling by Espen Oeino and interiors by the British studio Redman Whiteley Dixon. Sistership to IRIMARI, she was conceived from the outset to feel significantly bigger than her length suggests, with more than 685 square metres of exterior deck space, an area larger than most yachts of 70 metres or above.
RWDu2019s interior styling favours silvery white recreational spaces brought to life with a variety of textures and dark furnishings used as accents, creating a calm, contemporary backdrop with tall ceilings and abundant natural light. Glass balustrades and cut-out gunwales on the exterior decks were specifically chosen to keep sightlines to the water uninterrupted, so guests stay connected to their surroundings whether seated indoors or out.
The sundeck is NORTH STARu2019s undisputed daytime hub. A four-metre-long, glass-fronted Jacuzzi pool sits alongside comfortable sun loungers and a full bar, with an interior saloon positioned centrally for guests wanting a less formal dining option for up to 12 people, shaded from the midday sun while staying part of the action above. The aft deck offers further space for al fresco dining against panoramic Mediterranean or Caribbean views, depending on the season.
Up on the bridge deck, a second salon brings a full bar, two distinct lounging areas and a smaller table for casual pre-dinner drinks, while a forward den with a large television functions as the yachtu2019s entertainment hub, ideal for gaming or movie nights away from the main social spaces. A state-of-the-art movie theatre elsewhere on board adds a further dedicated cinema experience for evenings in.
Accommodation comfortably sleeps 12 guests across six en-suite cabins: a master suite on the main deck, a VIP cabin, two further double cabins and two twins, configured with families specifically in mind. A waterfront gym and a dedicated main-deck massage room, staffed by a full-time masseuse offering up to six daily treatments, give NORTH STAR a genuine wellness dimension that goes beyond the usual charter checklist.
Her beach club sits at sea level for effortless access to the water, anchoring an extensive water toy collection that includes Reverso Air sailboats, a Freestyle custom Cruiser waterslide, jet skis, a SeaBob, waterskis, wakeboards, bikes and an 8.23-metre Chris-Craft tender. NORTH STAR is an approved RYA water sports centre, and the crew run smooth launches and recoveries directly from the beach club for guests of every skill level.
Twin MTU engines give NORTH STAR a cruising speed of around 13 to 15 knots and a maximum of 17, with a 4,500 nautical mile range supporting her year-round charter calendar. With a highly experienced crew of 16 on board, she splits her year between the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean, including the British Virgin Islands, over the winter. Note: not available for charter to U.S. residents while in U.S. waters.
