OCEAN LOUNGE is a 2022 Bali sailing catamaran, a modern cruising multihull built around space, light and an easy, flat deck plan for ten guests. At just under seventeen metres long she is broad across the beam, which gives her the volume of a far larger monohull and the stable, level feel that makes a catamaran such a comfortable platform for a family or a group of friends. Run by a crew of two, she is relaxed and informal, a yacht for warm days spent in and out of the water rather than a formal superyacht week.
Her defining quality is the way she opens to the sea on a single level. The main salon and galley sit flush with the aft cockpit, and the dividing doors fold right back so that the inside and outside of the yacht become one large living space, shaded, airy and always open to the breeze. It is a layout that suits the way people actually spend a charter, drifting between the sofa, the dining table and the deck without ever stepping up or down, and it keeps the whole group together through the day.
Above and forward she offers a choice of places to settle. A flybridge carries sunbathing and seating up high with a clear view over the water, the natural spot for the run between bays. Forward, the foredeck gives a generous lounge with sun pads and a dining area between the hulls, a quieter place to lie out or to take breakfast away from the main cockpit. With so much usable deck, the yacht rarely feels crowded even with ten aboard.
Down at the water she is built for swimming and water sports. The wide, low transoms sit close to the sea with the tenders and toys a step away, so an afternoon at anchor turns easily into snorkelling, paddleboarding or simply drifting in the warm water. The flat, stable decks make her an easy yacht for children and for anyone less sure on their feet, and the crew keep the kit ready so the active side of the day flows without fuss.
Accommodation is arranged across five cabins for ten guests, with four comfortable double cabins for the guests set into the hulls, each with its own bathroom, good headroom and a hull window at the waterline. The cabins are finished in warm wood and neutral tones, bright and well proportioned, and because they are all doubles of a similar standard she works well for four couples travelling together as readily as for a family. The layout gives everyone their own private space below while the living happens up in the shared deck level.
A catamaran like this rewards a cruising ground of short hops and clear water, dropping the hook off a quiet beach for a swim at lunch and moving a short way to a sheltered cove for the night. Her shallow draft lets her tuck into bays a deeper yacht would have to admire from further out, and the crew of two keep the days flowing without ever crowding the guests.
She is well suited to Croatia and the wider East Mediterranean, cruising the Dalmatian islands and the clear water of the mainland coast at the relaxed pace a catamaran is built for. For a family or a group of couples who want space, shade and an easy relationship with the water, OCEAN LOUNGE is a comfortable and genuinely inviting choice.
