PRIVILEGE is a 34-metre motor yacht built by WHS Marine in 2010 and refitted in 2023, and the reason to look closely at her is volume. She carries the interior space of a much larger yacht across three enclosed decks, which is what lets her offer a full-beam master on the main deck, two separate living rooms and a formal dining room without feeling tight anywhere. For a group of eight, that space is the difference between a yacht that works for a week and one that only works for a weekend.
Her signature is the master suite. Rather than the usual below-deck owner’s cabin, PRIVILEGE puts the master forward on the main deck, running the full beam with a king berth on the centreline, a private lounge and desk to one side and windows that bring the water level with the bed. The ensuite is a true spa: a jacuzzi tub, twin basins and a cedar-lined sauna set behind glass. It is a rare feature at this size and the clearest sign of the custom thinking that went into her.
The living spaces are split across two decks, which gives a charter party room to spread out. The main salon runs the full beam beneath a backlit circular ceiling, finished in pale fabrics against gloss joinery and lit down both sides. Forward of it, a separate formal dining room seats the full party around a marble table. One deck up, the sky lounge is the quieter room, glazed on three sides with a sectional, a games table and its own shaded aft deck. Guests tend to settle one group upstairs and one down, and the yacht absorbs both.
Below, three further guest cabins sleep the balance of the party, each finished in dark timber with its own ensuite, and a convertible arrangement flexes the layout for families travelling with children. Every cabin has a window or port at berth height and a wall-mounted screen.
Outside, PRIVILEGE is built for warm-water cruising. The covered aft deck steps down to a sea-level beach club and the swim platform, the natural centre of the day at anchor for swimming, boarding and launching toys. The sun deck carries a jacuzzi set into the teak among sunpads and a shaded lounge, the highest and best seat on board. Forward, the bow opens into a second sunbathing area away from the rest of the party, so the yacht offers three distinct outdoor zones on three levels. The water-toy locker is deep to match: a 35-foot triple-engine Island Runner tender fast enough to run guests ashore in minutes, two jet skis, a pair of water scooters, towable tubes, a floating cabana and snorkelling gear for everyone aboard.
She runs on twin Caterpillar diesels at a relaxed 16-knot cruise, topping out near 19, with a professional crew of four and a layout designed to keep that crew out of sight while the service stays close at hand. The accommodation flexes with a convertible cabin for children, and the whole yacht is set up for warm, slow island cruising rather than fast passage-making. Based in Florida and cruising the Bahamas, PRIVILEGE suits a family or a group of friends who want the volume, the spa suite and the deck space of a larger yacht at a sharper weekly rate, and who value a yacht with the space to let a party of eight spread out and still feel private.
