SCORPION is a 46-metre motor yacht built by Sanlorenzo as part of the 46Steel series, delivered in 2015. Designed by owner with interior collaboration from Tiziana Vercellesi, every interior element in SCORPION is executed in glossy ebony Macassar with brass inserts and mother-of-pearl accents, creating an interior of extraordinary opulence that goes far beyond what one might expect from the exterior’s sleek, contemporary profile.
The full-beam master suite on the main deck includes a king-sized bed, comfortable seating area and private study, accessed through two private terraces on either side. Its en-suite bathroom is finished in onyx and back-lit wild agate, with a jet shower, Jacuzzi tub and twin basins that together constitute one of the most luxurious bathrooms afloat on a 46-metre yacht. Two VIP cabins and two twin guest cabins on the lower deck accommodate the rest of the party in equally fine, if less flamboyant, style.
A beach club at the stern provides easy water access, and the sun deck Jacuzzi and gym complete the on-board amenities. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines to 17 knots maximum and 14 knots cruising with a 3,500nm range, SCORPION operates in the Mediterranean with a crew of ten.
The main deck aft of Scorpion is the primary outdoor social space: a covered area with comfortable built-in seating, a dining table and a natural connection to the swim platform. Whether for casual lunches or formal dinners under the stars, this deck delivers atmosphere and practicality in equal measure.
The main salon of Scorpion is the centrepiece of the interior: a generous open-plan living and dining area that uses carefully chosen materials, furniture and lighting to create a space that feels both refined and genuinely comfortable. Large windows ensure natural light throughout the day, and the flow between the salon and the aft deck makes indoor-outdoor living effortless for every guest.
The master suite of Scorpion occupies the best position on the yacht for privacy and natural light. A king-sized bed, ample storage, sitting area, private terrace or balcony, his-and-hers dressing facilities and a premium stone en-suite bathroom with both shower and bath create a private retreat comparable to the finest suite in any five-star hotel.
The sun deck of Scorpion is the highest and most panoramic outdoor space on board: a Jacuzzi, sun pads, comfortable loungers and a bar create an environment where guests naturally gather as the afternoon light changes. Views are unobstructed in every direction.
The sky lounge of Scorpion is the social nerve-centre above the main salon: a versatile space with plush sofas, a bar and entertainment system that transitions between a relaxed daytime lounge and a lively evening gathering spot. Its panoramic windows make it equally popular for morning coffee and pre-dinner cocktails.
The 5 staterooms of Scorpion accommodate 12 guests overnight in surroundings that match the quality of the master suite in materials and detail. Several cabins convert between double and twin configuration, and all are equipped with en-suite bathroom, ample storage, individual climate control and full entertainment systems.
The beach club at the transom of Scorpion is the yacht’s most direct connection to the sea. Folding terraces or a hydraulic platform bring guests to water level, and a full water sports inventory, gym equipment for morning fitness routines, jet ski, SeaBobs and paddleboards, is always ready to deploy.
