WICKED PLAY is a Sunseeker built for the part of a charter that happens after dinner. One of the yard 115 Sport Yachts, delivered in 2015 and refit in 2022, she carries the fast, low profile the range is known for, then adds a flybridge rigged with programmable lighting and a sound system that turns the top deck into a private club when the sun goes down. For a group that wants pace by day and atmosphere by night, she is a pointed, specific choice.
She is quick. Twin MTU engines push her to a top speed of 26 knots, enough to run a Croatian island group in a morning and reach a new anchorage for lunch. The Adriatic suits her, with short hops between Istria, the Kvarner islands and the Dalmatian coast, clear water for swimming and a coastline that rewards a yacht able to move.
The outside decks are the heart of her. A spa pool sits forward on the bow, ringed by cushioned lounging and open to the horizon, the quiet counterpoint to the flybridge above. That upper deck runs an al fresco dining table, a wet bar and a spread of sun pads by day, then changes register after dark with colour shifting light and music. At the stern, a fold down beach club and swim platform put guests straight into the sea, with the tenders and toys a step away.
Inside, the main saloon runs full beam in pale carpet and warm wood, glazed on both sides so the anchorage stays in view. Deep sofas and a low table make one end a lounge. Forward, a separate formal dining area seats the group under a low chandelier for the evenings that call for it. The mood is calm and classic Sunseeker, a deliberate contrast to the energy of the decks.
Accommodation sleeps up to nine guests across four cabins. The master takes the main deck with wide windows and its own bath, and is joined by a double and a twin below, each finished in the same oak and cream palette with generous natural light. The layout works for a mix of couples and friends, or a family that wants the younger members close but separate. A crew of six runs the yacht, with a service style pitched to her character, present and easy rather than formal.
The 2022 refit keeps her current where it counts, from the deck systems that run the lighting and sound to the finishes in the guest areas, so she charters as a maintained, up to date yacht rather than a decade old hull trading on its name. A tender and a set of water toys widen the day beyond the deck, from towed rides and paddle craft to quiet time drifting off the beach club, and the crew set them up and pack them away so guests simply arrive at the water.
Through the summer she cruises Croatia and the wider Adriatic, moving between island anchorages and coastal towns, and stays in the warm Mediterranean cruising grounds through the shoulder months. WICKED PLAY is not the yacht for a guest who wants a quiet passage maker and little else. She is for the charter that starts with a fast run to a swim spot and ends with the flybridge lit up under the stars, and she carries off both without compromise.
